GRANT CARTWRIGHT is a graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA). His theatre credits include The Crucible, Hamlet, Grace, and Enlightenment for Melbourne Theatre Company; Rock ‘N’ Roll for Sydney Theatre Company/Melbourne Theatre Company; National Interest for Black Swan State Theatre Company/Melbourne Theatre Company; Thomas Murray And The Upside Down River for Griffin Theatre Company; Vaudeville X for Malthouse Theatre/Victorian Arts Centre; Stones In His Pockets for Critical Stages; Five Kinds Of Silence, Yes, and Mill On The Floss for OpticNerve Performance Group; The Chapel Perilous, and The Time Is Not Yet Ripe for La Mama; Angel for Manhattan Rep Theatre; Sex, Relationships and Sometimes... Love for 45th Street Theatre; and L’Chaim for Colombia Stages. Grant's film, television and web credits include Restoration, Olivia Newton John, Barracuda, Love Child, Dead Gorgeous, City Homicide, Rescue Special Ops, My Place, Death Star PR, I Love You Too, The Jammed, and The Pacific. Grant won the Green Room Award for Best Actor for Five Kinds Of Silence, and was nominated for Best Actor for The Time Is Not Yet Ripe. He won the Earphones Award for his reading of The Lumatere Chronicles Book 2: Froi Of The Exiles and that year was named one of the Best Voices of the year by US AudioFile Magazine. He has been awarded The Mike Walsh Fellowship, Dame Joan Sutherland Award, and The Orloff Family Charitable Trust Scholarship.
