CAMERON LUKEY graduated from the Victorian College of the Arts with a Bachelor of Music Performance (Honours) in 2009. From 2011-13, Cameron performed as a principal artist for Oz Opera and as a chorister for Opera Australia. Cameron’s first play Playing Rock Hudson premiered at the Coopers Malthouse Theatre in 2013, followed by a season at Sydney’s Old Fitz in 2015. In 2014, Cameron and Michele Bauer co-founded Left Bauer Productions, presenting a tour of Terrence McNally’s Master Class (featuring a Green Room Award winning performance by Maria Mercedes) and the acclaimed Australian premiere of Harvey Milk – The Opera in Concert (which Cameron also directed) at the St Kilda and Sydney Town Halls. In 2016, Cameron presented tours of Tim Fountain's Resident Alien (featuring a Green Room Award nominated performance by Paul Capsis) and American pianist Anthony de Mare's Liaisons Project. He also joined the team at fortyfivedownstairs as their Executive Producer. Productions with fortyfive include SHIT, L'amante anglaise, Dead Royal, This is Eden and Awakening.
